Whats wrong near my A/C?

I was driving my 2005 Ford Taurus near the air on Max AC and the dial on full cold. The passenger surrounded by the car be cold so we rolled the dial to warm, next it start getting too hot so we rolled it back to cold. But it would not receive cold anymore after that and still will not blow any cold air out, solely hot.

My thoughts are a leak but is it possible to take one so soon?
Or a fuse, relay or something like that.
The sports car only have 32,000 miles on it and has be in service since June2004, adjectives services done at the dealership.

Any idea of what could be the problem and how simple it is to fix?

Answers: It could also be that your A/C component needs to be recharged & recharge the A/C is not something that would be done everytime you have your sports car serviced unless it was due or you asked that they do it. Some cars and unit go through the freon faster than others. It's happen to me... :)
