Whats wrong near my 199NEON?

PLYMOUTH NEON, 99. it stopped yesterday randomly. it feel like something dropped from my vehicle n then it died. radio works, in attendance is power but it wont roll over. my uncle think its the gasline pluged? what do u reflect on?

Where can I find the best price...

you voice it will not roll over. i assume you are refering to the engine will not crank (turn) over. does it just generate a clicking sound. it kinda sounds similar to the engine may have locked up. reason this could happen low on grease ( pistons sieze in the cylinder bores) , broken rod, or perchance even a broken crank shaft. put the car contained by drive or either 1st gear if a standard nouns and see if you and a friend can push the car. if more than likely an internal engine problem. if it seem like your saloon should not have such serious problems please be more specific surrounded by the symptoms and maybe we can still backing you......
based on replys i am seeing i grain that some of us are unsure whether the car be running when it stopped or just would not start when you go to go somewhere. i base my answer on it running and then simply quit running. let us know please

Althought I bought my Accord privately, can...

wont roll over?

it any wont turn over (starter) or wont start/catch (fuel or spark)

try looking there for a start

Anybody want to swap vitara jeep for...

Answers:    Honestly, there is no simple, direct answer from a distance, and you'll hold to check a few possibilities...

When you turn the key, you are activate 3 seperate processes, as follows;
First, the battery throws amps to the starter (through a relay),.
Fuel is feed in a small amount to the intake (choke is open if engine is cold),
and the starter spins the flywheel causing the engine to "turn over" a few revolutions.
If adjectives goes resourcefully, the engine will "catch" and the plugs will fire the fuel and run...but when it doesn't, you'll need to back-track thru those 3 steps to find the problem.

First:
Briefly "hit" the switch forward to see if you hear the starter doing it's job.
Don't try to start the motor, you're just listen for a deep grinding or a large whirring nouns....
- A grinding sound process the teeth may be damaged on any the starter or the flywheel.
- A high-pitched spinng nouns means the starter is working, but the solenoid isn't pushing the starter-gear forward.
-Both of these possibilities have it in mind pulling the starter for replacement.-

No sound at adjectives opens the following possibilities;

- No current is making it to the starter...
Check the starter relay (mounted to the inner-fender), and the lashing red cable that runs from the batt to the starter for a good nouns.
* Also check your fuse panel for a heavy "Starter" fuse (check the owner's brochure for location, likelt under the hood)

- Check your grease level (dipstick)...if the stick is raining, the engine isn't seized...but if the stick is dry (and stinks) you may have a serious (terminal) problem...a seized engine can't be fixed (won't, in truth: it's possible, but noone does it normally).

If you're not getting any fuel, the engine will still crank and try to start...by "won't roll over" I'm guessing that you mean zilch happens when you turn the switch...and that narrows it down to any:
Battery - charge, (it is possible to have plenty juice to run the radio, but not adequate to turn the starter)
Starter - flywheel, (delivery of power to the starter, exchange of energy from starter to flywheel.)

If you turn the switch with the hood interested (and as quiet as possible environment), you should hear a small click nouns (the relay), a heavy click (the solenoid pushing the starter gear forward to contact the flywheel), and if adjectives is well, the weighty starter sound trying to turn the engine.

Please update your post so we can support to narrow it down even further.
