The car also stutters slightly. First the Engine Light come on, now it's lone ABS.

Answers: You enjoy 2 separate problems. The engine stutter and check engine light are due to a misfire. Will want spark plugs, wires or coils. With the light on the broker can check to see which cylinder and only redeploy that plug or coil if you wish.
The abs frothy is a different problem. It most likely wants an abs sensor, a tone ring, wiring or module. Again the salesperson can check the code and tell you.
If it have not been long since they checked or fix the problem ask the Service Manager if they will re check it and not charge for the diagnosis. Good luck.
