16 Year Old's First Car (cost)?

I've recently gotten a opportunity, checking account, the in one piece deal. I'm good my up for a car, and would resembling to know, on average, a 16 year old's first car costs? Any tips? What should I take, I could get a **** smaller number about how "cool" it looks or dents or w.e, I purely want a car that will work, and work for a long time. I really would fairly not have a motor break down on me within the first few months of buying it

Thanks for any answers, appreciate adjectives input.

Are within any other significant auction/selling sites...

Answers:    Sounds like you've get a good skipper on your shoulders. My advice to you is that you purchase a obedient larger car. There are two driving ages that obtain involved in the most accident: Seniors and Teens. I have closely of experience in this situation due to my former job, and from a sanctuary standpoint you'd be far safer in a full-sized sedan. You should be capable of get one around 3 or 4 years old next to reasonable mileage at a half-way clothed price. Once you've been driving for a few years, later you can consider a vehicle that appeals to you more. At any rate, good luck.

Is in that any place that will...

My first saloon was a 1990 Nissan 240 SX next to a manual nouns. It cost $2400 when I was fourteen (2001). The clearcoat and paint started crumbling not long after I got it. It's have some minor repairs (water pump, belts, etc.), but nothing really focal or expensive. I just get a second car, a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT also near a manual nouns. The 240 SX is still running strong with 214000 miles and counting (my husband is driving it now). My suggestion to you would be finding a mid 90s model Nissan, Toyota, or Honda contained by fairly suitable shape.
