I don't know of any motorized car given to exotic owners back then BUT within 1965 when my dad ordered one he got a Mustang pedal car which be given to me. In case you don't know, pedal cars are powered by the rider pushing the pedals which are connected to the rear axle to drive the vehicle forward. I decision I knew whatever happen to mine. :-(

Answers: Back in the day, contemporary car dealers occasionally hand out scale models of new cars as incentives to potential buyers. Some of these models have "friction" motors in them.
You can sometimes find these models for sale on Internet auction sites approaching Ebay or Craig's list. Check for die cast models.
