I'm considering purchasing a used 1996 Ford Taurus. That has 140,000 miles on it. Would you say that this vehicle have a lot of life gone. Or is that too many miles?

Thanks!

Where can i buy driver ed motor....

Consider the Make and Model...FORD TAURUS. Unfortunately, even though Ford Taurus is a reliable car ( I have a 1999), Once they start taking on the miles...their reliablility declines. If you are going to buy something with alot of miles on it, travel for Honda or Toyota. But it really depends on the history of the vehicle. Do you know who had it? Are they the original owners? Were they drivers resembling Thelma and Louise or more like Ms. Daisey? This car could enjoy some life left, check it's history.

Buying vehicle ,,,,, abet?

I enjoy a 1995 Taurus with 173,000 miles, and it's well-maintained...it's about arranged for replacement now, but drives fine. I have spent going on for $ 400 this year for repairs.

If you go for it, have a mechanic look it over completely, it 's worth the money and time to know what repairs you might obligation.

I agree with other posts-look for a honda or toyota-more expensive, but they are superior in competence and reliabilty.

It's a discouraging car, and a bad year. Get a Toyota or a Volvo.
