1997 Geo Tracker: Good price?

I'm goin to the dealership this saturday to buy a 1997 geo tracker for $3,750. The car has 44k miles and its a instruction manual transmission. Is this a good concord? Is the car reliable?

Also, I'm 17, a boy, and have a verbs driving record. How much can I expect to pay for insurance? What insurance company should I run with? I live in Maryland purely 5 miles away from DC

Answers: I looked at the NADA prices. It should be selling for between $2500 and $3300 tops. They are trying to get more for these rigs because of the gas price issue. Did you happen to see this is a 2wd...not a 4wd car? If you were wanting a 4wd you will own to look elsewhere. Just something else to think about..My niece have one and they are easy targets for thieve. Real easy to break into with the sacking top. Good luck.
