2004 honda civic ex trade surrounded by convenience.?

So I went to a salesperson to get a quote on a 2004 nissan xterra. I be able to win a fair price for it but call the deal past its sell-by date when they would only afford me $6500 in trade for my 2004 honda civic ex coupe. The civic is contained by great condition with solely 33,000 miles. KBB and NADA give it a trade contained by value of around $11,500. I work out that these are just guides but I can't come across to understand why they would enjoy offered me a value so low. I tried to negotiate but they would almost not budge and let me amble out the door. Is $6,500 really a "fair" trade in good point for my civic? I would like some opinion on this .

Can anyone relate me what happen leasing...

Answers:    I'm not a car peddler, but I think the problem is the mark-up. You are trading surrounded by a used car for another used saloon. They want to make the most profit on the mart. They know how much they paid the previous owner for the Nissan Xterra, what you negotiate the price to, and what they want to make to craft it worth their while. I bet if you were going to buy a brand new car the price of your trade surrounded by would be higher--maybe not $11k, but more than $6k. Try another dealer and see how that works.

What can i do, if some one...

did you tow it, or push it within after the fire ?
