2004 honda civic near 98600 miles on it?

I'm looking to buy a car. I dont own a lot of money and I'm stuck on getting a honda civic. I found a 2004 civic sedan beside 98600 miles on it and they're asking 9500. Is this a good deal? I want a sports car that will last. and I be not looking for a car next to that many miles but its pretty much the individual one in my price array. so please tell me what you deliberate..would it be worth it? do you think I can articulate him down on the price? thanks!

You are approaching a window where on earth you will need to do primary services on the car, close to timing belts, and such... not cheap. See what has be done already.
