Hi
i'm selling my (2000 W reg) 1.4 16v Renault scenic at the moment and was looking for some direction.
The car have covered just over 71k and have just have a new cam belt and tensioners, sea pump, ignition coils, spark plugs, air fliter, alternator belt, cranium gasket and valves.
All this work is covered by a 12 month warranty would it put you stale buying the car or not?
Apart from the work above human being done, the scenic has be a great and realiable family vehicle, I'm only selling it as its a guide car but my wife drives an automatic and it make more sense to have two automatic cars.
gratitude
It always help selling to make the saloon look really good when presenting it contained by person and surrounded by the advert. You can do this at fairly low cost by only buying a few cheap accessories (like: clean mats within the front), cleaning or touching-up any marks within interior, refinishing the tyres with tyre dressing, a moral polish all round). Take some really nice photos showing rotten its best features and advertise the sports car on ebay where adjectives these photos can be displayed at minimum cost. Set a lowest acceptable but natural price (see Parker Guide) and do not mention that the engine has be rebuilt newly that it has be well maintain and has a full service text. Good luck
I'm guessing your cam-belt snapped and trashed a few valves?
That wouldn't put me rotten. In fact, it'd be a bonus to know that'd be done as cars always give the impression of being to need that genus of work at that age and mileage.
Don't mention it in the advert. Just say "no expense spared on keeping saloon in faultless working order" and show them the receipts when they come to look it over.
