Buying First motor, is it that difficult?

I am Living in Australia and enjoy saved close to 10,000 dollars iam looking at getting a exotic car but near only 10,000. I want to know what is the best option. iam just 17 and have be saving for a motor for over the past 1.5 years. leasing or paying brass what is the best option??
