Car dealership won't permit me theory test drive used coup��.?

So I've been looking around for a (new)used vehicle and see an Acura Integra. So I go into the dealership and check out the saloon. Talk to the salesman and try to see if i can test drive the sports car. 30 Minutes later after getting my info, I ask him if i can question paper drive the car. He tell me "These are wholesale cars and we dont carry wholesale insurance on these cars so we cant tolerate you take it sour the lot."

I know what wholesale cars are but, whats the deal next to the insurance crap? I'm 22, stable job and probably engender more a year than he does. I'm not some punk kid who wants to help yourself to it for a spin.

Answers: Sounds like they're hiding something if they won't agree to you test drive the saloon. I've never heard of such piece as *wholesale insurance*. In any case, if you can't, for anything reason, interview drive the car, it's best that you look for another saloon you can actually help yourself to off the lot.
