Im 16 and close to get my lisence im looking for a accurate desant cars that are cheap enough to fit my wallet.. lol which is beneath 2000.. any ideas will be great thank you
Answers: Don't listen to anyone who say you can't buy a good coup¨¦ for $2000. But you have to know where on earth to look. (NOT the used car dealership). Over the years, the public have set the Accord/Camry on a really high platform (not for any especially good reason), and so they cost alot more to buy used than they should. My 1996 Olds Cutlass Ciera cost $1000 a year ago, I bought it when I be 15. I would suggest a 1995-1996 Cutlass Ciera or a 1995-2000 Buick Century (which was like peas in a pod as the Olds in '95 and '96).
Pros:
Very Reliable
Comfortable
Good gas mileage
Cost thousands smaller amount than Accord/Camry w/ same mileage and year
Safe
REALLY cheap insurance(mine is only $400/yr. remember I am 16...)
Cons
They aren't exciting. They aren't slow, but copious would find them boring
But I'm happy next to mine. Great car.
My guidance as to where you can find such a vehicle: Craigslist, if it's big in your nouns.
And as they will always narrate you, get a mechanic you trust to look at it. That is the most major part of the complete process.
