I currently have a Chevy Cobalt ('05). I bought it exotic, but have other had minor, mostly lush problems with it (the silver trim on the inside is coming bad, minor rattling lower than the hood, etc.) It has great gas mileage and is strong satisfactory for a little sports car, but my parents, who paid for the coup¨¦, are urging me to invest in a bright one in casing the Cobalt goes to crap quicker than it already have.
I am very interested within the Hyundai Tiburon, but I've heard fruitless reviews as far as power go. A Mitsubishi Eclipse is also a potential for me. I be also looking at Dodge Avengers, but for the most part the option aren't what I want, so we'll stick with the first two.
So, from anyone who have a little experience (not a moment ago reading reviews, I can do that too), mainly out of my '05 Cobalt and the '07 Tiburon, which would be better? Keep surrounded by mind that I know neither may be perfect - but if I own to decide, will I be better stale w/a Tib. or will it work out the same as my Cobalt?
Look at a 2008 Ford Focus http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h... It gets up to 40 mpg and should be no more than $14,000. It features a standard voice activate system that controls your phone calls and music from your MP3/iPod so you don't hold to take your hand off the tiller. You just speak who you want to call or what song you want to play, and after you can speak out loud while the voice is emit through the car's speakers, or if you said a song it will automatically start playing.
There is a 4 door or 2 door option.

Financially, it makes much more sense to stick near the Cobalt. Cars are very poor investments, they lose expediency with every year and every mile you put on them, and you've already gone through the worst depreciation with your Cobalt, which happen the first couple years. If you were to buy an '07 (Tiburon or any other car) you'd hold to go through that steep initial depreciation again.
Why the rush to replace the Cobalt? It won't slop apart overnight, I don't see any reason to replace it unless/until it's truly cause you trouble. There's no guarantee a new saloon will be trouble free, either.
Buicks own consistently better quality ratings than other GM vehicle, that's what I would look at. They're also considered "Grandpa cars," because lots of elderly drivers buy them (again, because of the quality ratings). That usually medium they've not been driven irresponsibly, and are unanimously better-maintained. Whan buying a used car, I would stay away from anything popular near males under 35.
My counsel is to find a low-mileage, one-owner Buick.
Answers: If you buy a hyundai you will conclude up in like peas in a pod or worse situation than your Cobalt.
Go check out a Nissan Versa or Sentra. Or check out a Toyota Corolla S. Those are just a few option you have. They are pretty close contained by price, too.
Stay FAR away from Hyundai, Kia, and Suzuki.
