Does this cover me from repossession?

My car payment be 2 months behind. I was advise that the finance company was going to reposses the vehicle but they own yet to pick it up. I now own the money to pay the past due set off plus the payment that will be do in February. Since this is $1345 I needed to have some sort of protection so I requested something in writing from the nouns company stating that the repossession will be removed from my credit (if they had put it on there already) and that I can hold on to the car and continue making payments. This is what they sent me:

Please be advise unreciept of payment done via western union collection hobby ends.

My question is, does this protect me?

FYI, I called the guy and asked him why he couldn't mention repossession surrounded by the email and he gave me the runaround saying this is adjectives I need and once I was current they couldn't repossess the vehicle anyway. I am assuming this is because they haven't certainly put the repossession on my credit.

The nouns on my van died, thinking...

The late payments are going on your credit history regardless of when you settle the outstanding debt. Payment history is part of your credit history for every loan you own plus credit cards.

Selling saloon?

I wouldn't regard so. And by the way, what kind of sports car do drive that costs that much a month? Good luck!

What Car Applies to you?

Answers:    This does not protect you .however go to free annual credit report.com and get a free copy of your credit report which you are entitled to once a year...see if the repo is on here, it should NOT be and if it is, contact all 3 credit bureau immediately and hold it removed (there is no charge for this)..they cannot put repo on credit til it occurs.just convey the money and keepe make timely payment...as long as they adopt payment and you stay current they CANNOT repo car, if they do you hold lawsuit against them, even if in error the pick-up car..Pay the bill and verbs - pay via check or wU so that you have proof of allowance and amount and what day - keep it... and the e-mail

Tax cross-examine..? clueless?

Repo wouldnt go on your credit unless they actually took the vehicle back.

Moreover it still wouldnt go on unless they still have it when they reported (usually around the 10th -15th of the following month, but dont count on that).

He wont mention repo in the email because he knows you can sue him and they will hold to consider the car paid stale in full if he says the wrong thing-that is standard procedure. Just similar to in mortgage collections you never say 'foreclosuse' lower than any circumstances because it can be considered a threat and is thus illegal.

Youre fine. You can always verbs your credit report in a month of two to be sure though ---I would anyway just to generate sure they didnt report something wrong by accident.

(By the way, usually repo doesnt transpire for 3 months, so its likely that initial mention of it was lately to scare you).

However, its best not to listen to someone on Yahoo for this. Bad info can screw you terribly and several things vary by state. Do as UCant said and call give or take a few it.

How can I find out the owners...

The repo should not be on your credit report anyway until after they repo the vehicle, but getting it in writting is a good perception anyway. A note for future citation: Most finance companies will not come and repo a car unless you return with more than 3 months behind. This is because they don't want the car, they want their money and if they repo the vehicle they loose money when it is auctioned off. That is why they turn around and come after clients fot the difference between what they auctioned the car for and what you owe on it. This is logically not true with all companies.

I thinking roughly speaking getting a contemporary...

EXACTLY WHAT TONE JUST TOLD YOU, WESTERN UNION THE COMPANY YTHE MONEY, OR ACTUALLY I WOULD GO THRU MY BANK AND DO THAT SO YOU HAVE THERE PROTECTION AS WELL, ONCE YOU CATCH UP ON THE PAYMENT THEN THERE IS NO WORRY ON THE REPO, BUT A REPO CANNOT BE REPORTED ON YOUR CREDIT HISTORY TILT HE VEHICLE GETS REPO AND THEY SELL IT AT AN AUCTION.

Honda Civic or Ford Focus Hatchback?

Repossession is on your credit once they've taken possession of the car. When you're behind on your payments after 3 months, they grant you notices in the post letting you know that you need to pay the bill. They notify a tow truck company out everywhere you live to find your car and pick it up. After a while, they can't find your car, they report that to the cops and the cops will consent to you know that if you don't comply, arrange for the tow co. to pick up your car, then they'll issue a warrant out for your arrest for stolen motor. Sucks.

So all in adjectives, if you still have your car, afterwards it's not considered reposessed. Make sure you contact the finance company (collections), pay that bad right away. If you go through Western Union, you want ot call the nouns company back with the confirmation number on the receiving of W.Union to make sure they got it. Ask them if anything else wishes to be done and have them notify the tow company and anyone else in the gathering that it's been paid.
Try not to do it again, looks doomed to failure on your record when you don't pay things sour on time. :)

Is this worth buying?

That is clearly not satisfactory information to make anyone feel nontoxic. Before you pay them, make sure you find exactly what you are asking for.
