I'm at a point where financially I can't variety any more of the payments on my car. (I can't even borrow money or bring back a loan to pay past its sell-by date the car)
I was wondering what would ensue if I go the the merchant ship and surrender my vehicle to them?
Other then the evident (hurting my credit) what are some other things the car company might do? (if I don't own a home, and don't hold any money how is the company going to come after me for the remaining amount of money they lost?)
I'm not looking for other options, newly would like to know what would evolve in the situation a being gets out of their lease hasty by surrendering their vehicle.
thanks surrounded by advance
How long is not here on your lease? I traded my lease in 8 months hasty and GM forgave me for the balance as long as I get another vehicle from them.
You'd still be on the hook for the money, but you'd at least hold surrendered the car and potentially save yourself getting tagged next to repo expenses.
They could seek a taste against you and garnish your wages.
Answers: You will be responsible for the difference contained by what you owe and what the car sell for.
