I know your car insurance increase with a convertible, but will it also increase as much near a hardtop convertible? I was thinking of getting the VW Eos, does anyone have one? Is it a biddable car? The other car I enjoy been looking at is the Ford Edge but everyone tells me Ford vehicle don't whole their value? What you suggest I should get?
i dont think it will make much difference surrounded by insurance price my son has just bought a saab convertable and we rung round and get rearly good quote there be a difference of lb600 from one insurance you are best going ringing round also tell them a lower price than you have have and can they do it cheaper and also ask if they have any discounts they dont want to loose business,i got a lb80 discount,
as for fords here cheap to repair but no they dont hold their value

The Ford Edge won't be so bad in decreasing attraction. Not great either. I would not buy either. I would capture a Mercury Mariner over the Edge. And I would buy a Mazda 3 over the VW. G'luck!
Answers: the price difference for insurance is not going to be that much with a convertable. its mostly on your driving account and the value of the car. i enjoy a miata soft top convertable and with a good diary insurance is affordable.
