I want to buy a convertable.
Choices are around, BMW, Mercedes, Audi A4 or Toyota Solara.
Need to have 4 seats, thats why the Lexus is out.
What do you chew over are the pros or cons of all the cars. Again I am looking at 2001-2004 (around 25k$)

Answers: The Solara has much room than the other cars, will be course more reliable and is cheaper to own, but it doesn't have the performance of the 3 Germans.
The BMW is the drivers sports car.
The Audi is the best looking.
The Mercedes Benz has more prestige.
If you ask me, I wouldn't buy a BMW, Mercedes or Audi used, they're expensive to buy and very expensive to profess and repair.

Mercedes= I wouldn't buy. They use chrysler parts on their cars. Actually I read a report last year that said the #1 most unreliable luxury saloon in 2007 was the Mercedes, believe it or not.
BMW= is awesome, the looks, actions. Get one if you can afford to maintain it.
Toyota Solara= No problems here. Very reliable and cheaper to maintain. Still looks great, and execution is good.
So get the BMW if you can, if get the Toyota. That's all.
