I ordered a truck on Nov 29th, they said it finally shipped by rail on Jan 25th, where is it? They say aloud they can not tell becuase of security reason. I guess they do not want terrorists hijacking new trucks.
I don't know how most mfg's work, but BMW will be close to 3 weeks from finish off of build week. Assuming that model is built in Germany.
It realy depends on what factory it's coming out of. contained by what state. And their security reason is if you know what train it's on later all you have to do is track the train and you could still it. I know of alot of them that get taking that way and if not afterwards , it would be after it got loaded on the truck to go to the hawker.

Well, some cars are built in Mexico, take the train to the ship, ship to the port, and trucked to your marketer.
