2 door 64 impalas are getting harder to find and going up surrounded by price. Don't bother with asking a mechanic. If you are looking for a dutiful project, then this one would probably be worthwhile.
All of the body parts are available from aftermarket distributors. The sheet metal will be honourably reasonable. The grill and other bright trim will come across expensive.
