How much is a La Salle 3 speed Transmission worth..?

I have an old La Salle Transmission specifically a 3 speed with syncro. I do not know the year but i am guessing late 30's? I remember support in the day the La Salle Transmission be sought out for its durability in Drag Racing ..I have have it forever and don't even know if anyone remembers them.

Answers: I do. I owned and restored a '40 LaSalle Business coupe back in the impulsive 60's. With beefed up autos, and heavy duty four and five speed transmissions the frail LaSalle's have probably lost their appeal. Might try EBAy though. The Cad/LaSalle restoration market might efficacy it fairly high. The nouns was actually certain as a Cad/LaSalle as Cadillac produced the LaSalle and used it in both cars. A friend of mine owned one of the last LaSalles, a '41 Opera Coupe. The Oera coupe have jump seats surrounded by the rear while the Business Coupe had a full size form. By the way is it a side or top shifter. The early ones have top shift. Don't know when they changed but the '40 was a side shift.
