Answers: they are pretty occasional,and the chance of you finding one is probably devout,but for 3500 bucks about adjectives you will get will be a project vehicle,those and the 240 z,s are really hard to come by,if you luck up and find one specifically running and driving for around 3500 you will be doing really good,there's two of those surrounded by my home town both owned by a set of twins,and those was their first cars,i hold seen them turn down 15 splendid a piece for them,so you might find one,and yes they are expensive to insure,because of the rarity of them,good luck near it.
as stated earlier, they are incredibly rare, and tough to find cheaply... a lot of that have to do with ability of the steel used in japanese cars within the 70's, and even into the early 80's. It be almost as if the cars were made of compressed rust. Most of the cars basically rusted out and were scrap. They are great cars, and a blast to drive.
