Answers:    Chevy Man & Bill W actually own viable answers. The fact is you signed a contract beside the dealership NOT the bank. Just because the hill told you they will approve the deal doesn't stingy it's for the figures the salesperson submitted.

You can either try and articulate to the General Manager, or secure your own financing for the "Amount to Finance" at the bottom of the buyers lay down, however if you feel the dealership is anyone dishonest, then vacate.

The dealership can and will take spinal column the car. Contracts between you and the dealership anticipate NOTHING unless they are funded (meaning if the contract between the dealership and the bank doesn't get hold of proper funding).

You will have the right to receive any money you put down assuming you promptly return the vehicle. Lawyers don't brand name the laws, so don't dribble away your money, nor take the risk of keeping the saloon.

go stern to the dealership with the vehicle. try to resolve the issue. if they emergency the car put money on then distribute it to them. if they want to sell later buy it. if you refuse to donate it back explicitly called pompous theft auto.....be smart!
