But check the chassis and underbody for rust....As most Hyundai Cars develop rusting due to aquaplaning on the underbody during the rainy season....
You should seize a 2005 Model XING which is well maintain for around 2.7-3 Lakhs...

The Santro:
1.A good engine.
2.slam the accelerator(no involve to floor) and you can feel the torque(less gear change,transmission last for long time)
3.the gear is a short throw one,less physical exertion in shifting the gears.U don't enjoy to drag the lever to change the cog purely a push is more than enough.
4.a rigid suspension setup that allows you to corner and brake faster short jeopardising ur life.
5.Its undoubtedly get more space than the santro.
6.mileage is good(10-12 kms/ltr in city,16+ kms/ltr on highways)(This is where on earth the alto wins)
7.The servicing network is honourable,they offer things close to free monsoon checkups and things like that,where on earth they also replace ur wiper blades,rotate the tire positions without employees costs.
8.The car is a trouble free vehicle,best for city driving.
9.Its get a high bonnet queue so u don't have too guess for the front come to an end of the car.Also u can own a greater road presence than other mentioned hatches.
10.Just choose the color a bit attentively.

1.The engine gets weedy when the AC is switched on.
2.Overtaking's a affliction requires down shifts too often.
3.The gear box is a long throw one,tiring to shift gears.
Apart from alll this it is a great people car to drive.But if u are looking for space next go for the santro(That's my choice,so is it of masses other car magazine since it was released within India).
