Good people, I'm surrounded by a tiny fix here. I work in a company and we obligation to buy what we call a utility vehicle. Such a vehicle is used to do the rounds - letters delivery, human pickups, some shopping & the occasional call on to IKEA. We are seeking to replace the vehicle we currently use for that, a 1997 Volvo V70 TDI, the MKII V70 I think.
Now my 'dilemna' starts. We get a good deal for a VW Sharan Upgrade edition. One boss of mine is trying to come up near a Peugeot 807 as another option. This is where on earth I need some incredibly intelligent help. The boss say the VW is high keep and will be rattling soon. Guys, IMO, thats the greatest pack of BS I hear. I also don't think the Pug is pious enough for adjectives dem running around trips. I think I've painted a righteous enuff pix. May I have some intelligent input and other vehicle option whilst at it; stuff I'd print out as part of presenting my suitcase (I'm not getting a pay rise for this).

Answers: your boos is WRONG...
the 806 is a costly piece fo frog unwanted items, which will gobble up money hand over fist... 1st MOT, expect a bill of around lb1000... the cams are prone to "going" the build standard is questionable, and the resale value NON existent.
the T4 VW (1.9tdi) is within another class...
mind you, i just flogged my volvo diesel estate and bought a toyota... FULLY loaded, and does 40mpg at 75-80mph... swivel sitting room, climate control, ABS, sports/economy mode auto box... blah blah blah... and i can get a 3 seater sofa within the back... or 6 adults and their apparatus...
and vauxhalls use isuzu diesel engines... and they are better than toyotas... but they also cost a whole lot more...
i truly just come out of car sale so would recomend vauchall lol. in my judgment i would never trust pugs cus i brand them as unreliable.
VW are known to stir on 4 ever but you sure notice the differnce contained by the price! vauxhall= what you pay 4 you achieve
