Thanks.
Hi, I have two recommendation:
(1) - The Renault Mégane Sport Saloon. I'm a huge fan of these cars. Renault pack them full of clever gadget such as automatic headlights and if you go for the scope topping Privilège model, the car senses that you are carrying the keycard and let you unlock the doors and start the engine without even taking it out of your pocket. A 5 Star sanctuary rating and the fact that it be National Car of the Year 2002 make it even better. Fantastic 1.5 dCi and 1.9 dCi engines are tremendously quick but still economical.
(2) - Peugeot 407. This motor earns a 5 star safekeeping rating too. It's bigger than the Mégane which means more room, but will be more expensive. The HDi diesel engines concluding forever; I recently come across a Citroen C5 fitted with indistinguishable engine which had done 260,000 miles, and be still going! Great styling and a nice ride are also good parts of the 407.
Hope this help
Family motor ?
If so, Ford Focus C-Max 1.6 Turbo Diesel.
47mpg on average.
Answers: For a 4-door saloon consider:
Ford Focus public house (rare in the UK) 1.6Tdci or 2.0Tdci.
Volkswagen Jetta 1.9TDi or 2.0TDi, or the elder Bora 1.9TDi.
Renault Mégane SportsSedan 1.5dCi or 1.9dCi.
Skoda Fabia saloon 1.9SDi or TDi (again irregular in the UK)
Mazda3 inn 1.6D
Volvo S40 1.6D
Toyota Corolla saloon 2.0D4-D (again scarce in the UK)
The Toyota and Mazda will probably be the most reliable,
The Mégane 1.5dCi will probably use the lowest fuel, and be the cheapest to tax.
Anybody know of a place where on...
