Rights as a buyer of a used motor?

I got a used car and the carfax report claimed the sports car color to be Black...the actual color on the car was blackish-grey...

I did not nonetheless the title for 20 days after delivery of car..and get the title today..the color on the new title is mentioned as Grey..

There is a mismatch between the color mentioned on car fax report and the title..

1. Could it be that the broker has repainted the car due to any spoil to the car which was not revealed on the carfax report

2. Could it be because the supplier intentional trying fraudulent sale?

3. I would have a tough time selling the saloon if the car fax report claims the color to be black and the title says the color is grey...

What should I do?

First Car For Teen?

If the title say the car is grey and its a eal title than car fax is mistaken as the title cant be changed unless it is a counterfeit. the easiest approach to tell if a car have been repainted if to open the hood and see if the vertebrae for the body panels are the same color If so it is any the original color or they did a very suitable job repainting (it is very unlikely they would paint both sides of the body panel if they repainted the car it would be very expensive to do and they probably wouldn't see ample return for it to be worth doing) so if they painted the car the inside of the engine bay or beneath the carpet in the trunk will be the resourceful color and you will be able to tell if it have been repainted. most likely here was either a mistake of one number when you put the vin contained by carfax or carfax is mistaken the cost to paint the entire car a different color would be very elevated.
The dealer could have bought the saloon from an auction and painted the car but you would be able to enlighten with the car fax report. You would be capable of see if the car was bought at an auction on the sports car fax report. If the car fax report looks good afterwards I would call DMV and ask them. DMV might have made a mistake on the title.

I lately bought a 1998 Land Rover...

It depends on what the car looks like the most contained by the day light and at dark.If the colors are close don,t worry about it

New motor... on my budget...?

The title can be wrong. As a merchant when you put a vehicle in your system you are asked a list question about the vehicle including interior and exterior color. Now you might have a salesman, a controller, or a receptionist upstairs who just looked out the window at the motor and decided on the color. When the dealer prints the ROS (Report Of Sale) the color is printed on that document and they use that document to issue the modern title. It is probably just a clerical error or a disagreement in Grey or black. I have an idea that your fine.
What makes you think you hold any rights. Maybe the person who filled out the title application be color blind? The way to tell for sure would be to find out the color code of the saloon, which may be encoded in the VIN. If you can figure that out, later you will know if the car was repainted.

What paperwork do I call for to...

Which sports car is best for me?

Answers:    Actually in attendance really isn't anything you can do. A dealership is not obligated to say if a car have been repainted. As long as the actual Carfax is clean of accident, then the dealer is not fraudulently selling the motor.

As far as the Carfax saying black, it doesn't matter what they read out. If the car is gray and the title says gray, consequently Carfax can say Sky-blue Pink because it really doesn't matter. The information from Carfax is to check for power-driven and structural repairs, not repaints.

If you want to see if your car was repainted, you can widen the doors, trunk, and hood and feel for the residue left from painter tape. If you're not sure how, you can click on my profile and go to the website. There is a cubicle of how to detect repainted cars.
