Salvage Yard Sale?

Hi! I am planning on selling my '95 Pontiac Sunfire GT to a salvage yard because the engine go beyond repair and due to the size of the engine I was unqualified to locate a replacement. I was wondering what be the process on it? The car is contained by great condition other than the engine (ha!) so at hand are a lot of parts to be sold. What price can I expect and would I requirement to sign the title over to them and would there be any costs associated next to that? I have the title and that isn't an issue, but would we own to go to a notary and everything approaching if you were selling it, or give I just dispense them the title and car?

Answers:    When you put on the market a car to a salvage patio, it is just approaching selling it to any dealer. You confer them the car and the title, they donate you money and handle adjectives needed paperwork! All salvage yards are licensed (as salvage vehicle dealers).

You can expect a flat rate base on the size of the car! They are buying the coup¨¦ based on square metal value. It does not thing if the car is pretty or thrash up, they pay equal. Depending on your area, you will probably receive $100-$200 for your car.

You are wrong. There are PLENTY of engines for these cars. A repair shop can find one efficiently. They will tow your car probably for free if you confer them the job.
