Scratches within pickup bed near GM Smart Lease?

I am approaching lease-end with my 2006 Silverado Pickup. I never purchased a bed-liner for it, and now own some scratches in the bed that I am concerned going on for. They are very minor scratches, but longer than 2". I guess when you tug stuff, you are bound to get scratches. Anyway, the smart lease information packet doesn't in reality go into detail in this reguard. Has anyone have any experience with this?
BTW, I had window tinted, a car starter put on, a tonneu cover installed and nerf bars installed. Do they entail to get removed prior to turning it in? The document seem to indicate such, but it seems weird that they wouldn't want those upgrades if they be left on the vehicle.
Thanks for any and all replies.

Best trimmings to protect saloon?

If I bought a LEMON saloon, could...

Well as far as the scratches they could be considered normal wear or they could charge you for them. For the upgrades phone the leasing company and as I am sure they will not mind if you leave them on. Here is my suggestion. Take the tonneu cover and the nerf bars and supply them. Use that money to buy a cheap $150 dollar bed liner and presto problem solved!

What's a honourable first motor?

Answers:    GMAC with the sole purpose charges if the scratches on the top of the bed rails. They are not supposed to charges for scratch like you describe in the bed. Only outside body panel and Bed rails. I would keep adjectives accessories and sell them unless removing them leaves any scratch , holes, etc. The tonneau cover for example could have left detectable scratches on the bed rails. If i.e. the case I would leave it. You may not find it worth the hassle to mess near the accessories but you do not gain anything leaving them. If you lease your subsequent truck check into adding accessories near the lease. Some accessories residualize. For example a bed liner is $190 for a Chevy truck from GM, by adding to the vehicle when you lease it over you lease occupancy you may only add $3 to the allowance of a 36 month lease ($108). The only catch is that GMAC get these accessories back when you turn the vehicle within. The accessories may "cost more" than what you can get elsewhere but they are covered below your new vehicle warranty and you may only earnings a portion of that "cost".

I cogitate I bought the wrong sports...

If you purchased any of the accesories at the same time you leased the truck, check next to your dealer as some accesories are residualized and stay on the vehicle. If they are not, you should tke them off as GMAC will not make a contribution you any credit for them... I agree with the idea of purchasing a cheap bedliner so you dont enjoy to worry about the scratch...

If I lease a current saloon, does...

Logic would say a pickup is to haul things, and minor scratch would be considered normal wear and tear, but logic isn't other what they go by.

As to the upgrades, I would think they would love them, but again, who know for sure? That's logic again.

Call them and ask, they are the only ones who will be able to detail you the correct answer.
