This woman from e-bay charged me 7.99 for shipping and immediately she desires to charge me 18.00 after I payed?

I am interested in this science book from ebay, and I won it. Before bidding on it I asked the woman if she ships to Puerto Rico, I told her that I never had problems next to that, and most of the stores where I buy my books, charge me normal shipping.

Now she tell me after I bough the book that she wants to charge me 18 dollars because I count as "international" when most of the time I am count as a U.S citizen because I AM a U.S citizen.

I want to cancel my directive and want my money back but that is the cheapest place I hold found that book. I won it for 35 dollars, and it originally costs like 100 dollars aprox, with the 18 dollars of shipping it would be 45, is still cheap but is not event.

If the lease holder of a saloon...

i would pay the 18 dollars and then after you receive the book, sign out her a negative review saying exactly what you of late wrote here. this way, she will hopefully not do it again and will probably lose a few sales because of it to.

Good Luck!
If she emailed you a shipping price earlier bidding fight it with ebay.If not she can charge you what she wishes.
If she also has it in the almanac what shipping would cost she can't overcharge you.
I always write sellers & ask how much is shipping if its not surrounded by the listing.I keep the reply until the undamaged transaction is complete before deleting it from my email.
Good Luck!
come across about right im sorry but to know try going to the post office and asking them how much it would cost to distribute it to where she lives then you should know character of... you would have to guess the weight

Selling a cat d privately?

Answers:    Did she actually quote you $8 to ship to PR or was that a short time ago the price for posting within the US shown in her address list? It would cost her more for shipping outside of the US, wouldn't it? The automatically generated eBay invoice may have said $8 because her information bank was set for US bidders only. So she would own had to inform you separately of the actual shipping price.

If it costs her more to ship to PR then she is OK inside the eBay rules to charge you more, and if you bid without agreeing to a quoted shipping price then you are still contractually grateful to pay what she reasonably asks for AND she does not deserve impossible feedback from you.

You say it's not fair to you because you're a US citizen.. but you're not contained by the US. I think it would not be fair to her to be out of pocket for shipping to overseas. Be adequate - you still got a great bargain. This is why so various US eBay sellers won't sell to inhabitants outside of the US - it's not worth the haggling and headache.

Is the book still worth it with the further shipping costs?
If so, pay it and leave a distrustful feed back and or move about to arbitration.
But get the book first if it is worth it still.
You could always try to accomplish a "mutual agreement" to retract the bid.
But the key question is a upright but still.

My Parents Wont Buy Me a Car...

Yes it is balanced Puerto Rico is not counted as part of the 48 .. Alaska and Hawaii have difficult postage too. Pay the lady.
You can go to usps.com and put within your zip code and hers.. and I betcha she is charging you correctly.
