Used '95 Corolla or '00 Corolla?

So 2 used cars, both Toyota Corollas (auto/a-c/clean titles). Option1 is an individual seller, Option2 is from a small (& good)used vehicle dealer that puts somewhat work into the cars. I'm torn between cheaper & older or newer & slightly more reliable.

Opt. 1:
'95 Corolla w/ 134K , spanking new tires, body good --only 2 owners, full maint. store, asking is $2700 (will test out tomorrow)

Opt. 2:
'00 Corolla VE w/124K runs fine, untried paint, cleaned up, (dealer has 7 year wrnty on trans/engine or for $600 a 5yr/100k wrnty) asking is $4800

Opt. 1's price is pretty firm, option 2's price I could quibble down a bit.
With Opt. 2, my mechanic is checkin' it on Monday. With Opt. 1, there's a lady ahead of me to buy it but she take it to a mechanic on Monday so my only arbitrary to buy it is Sun. I'm S.O.L. on finding a mechanic Sun., though I'm OK w/cars so I could risk it.

Car will be used for work/commute.

Anybody got some pros and cons to the result? As poor as I am, I'm leaning toward Opt 2.

What the best coupé 2 do up...

#1 is 12 years old!

Go for #2 next to warranty cause thats a wrangle

Is it possible to buy a 2008...

GO WITH THE 2000 CORROLA, BETTER OFF IN THE LONG RUN.

GET THE EXTRA WARRANTY AND READ JUST WHAT IT COVERS.

What would you right to be heard...

Answers:    capably a corolla is a good vehicle its reliable. i would get the 00 corolla ve, prob is i conjecture the VE model is the lowest model so i think it doesnt come next to power windows or ne entry.. i wouldnt suggest buying a car from a agent but in this overnight case make sure u carry the 5 year warranty for 600, if something ever does go wrong it tha 600 will turn along way trust me! o yea craft sure ur mechanic checks out the 00 corolla througly!
