i currently am driving a 98 mustang 3.8 manual, it has 133,000 miles on it. and i did the plugs/wires/ pcv tap all that stuff, trans and clutch are going to be needed to be replaced or rebuilt. im 17 years old-fashioned and not alot of cash. so the mustang insurance sucks ( the car be givin to my by a uncle in trade for work) but i know the car isnt going to closing all that much longer, so should i just start throwing what money i do have/ take at it? or do the repairs and sell it? im not sure what i need to do Kelly Blue Book importance is just over 3,000. what should i do? any advice?
I would say, if its a mustang, sell it. next save and buy a new saloon.
or, sell it, buy an old motor.
either way.
go it and buy somethign more pratcical
trust me, i was in your posistion once
that vehicle is going to SUCK alll of the money out of you
and one day just quit totally
might as resourcefully get your three grand and walk buy yourself something aroudn that area thats more practical, like a focus or a neon
That's other a tough one to answer. If you knew your old coup¨¦ would last with just minor repairs, it would clearly better to keep it. But you don't know. Here's an article that might help you form a decision:

Answers: The 98 Mustang is not a classic and it is not the best Mustang ever made any. I believe you should sell it as soon as you can and get a vehicle that gives you better miles per gallon. At 17, you are going to need an monetary car in these hesitant gasoline prices times.
