I am looking for a first car. I hold an uncle willing get sell me a 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham for $500. It have 159,000 miles on it. I'm thinking for $500 you can't beat it even though it have high mileage. Today I saw a used 1990 Chevy Corvette at a local seller for $$8,995. It's a four speed auto with 79,749 miles on it. I love Corvettes and thik it would be an awesome first vehicle. But, is it practical for a new driver compared to the Caddy. I would close to to buy both cars and put the Corvette away and learn to drive the Caddy. I'm looking for your opinion on whether or not either cars are other and If buying both are a good conception.
By the way I am 17 and know satisfactory to work on my own cars.
The Caddy will hold WAY cheaper insurance.
just buy both im pretty sure the contract will negotiate down 500 buck
in other words 2 cars for the price of 1
:)
Answers: If you have $9k to spend, bring a reliable low mileage car. The $500 saloon might be a good starter, but it will lug a lot of work to hold on to it running. The corvette would be a great car, but the care and insurance would be outrageous. Call your insurance agent to get a genuineness check on a 17 yr old boy beside a Corvette will have to income. These cars are also high conservation and expensive to fix.
