Answers: My starter car be a 1998 subaru impreza. I got it in 2004 for 4000$ rotten ebay- its up to 154,000 miles, and I've never had a problem with it! I've put 50,000 miles on it within 4 years, and never had to replace a part. (even near iffy maitence) It still runs incredibly smoothly. I'd recommend one to anyone. Its small, great on gas (I still get 30 miles per gallon), and its fun to drive. Good luck!

dollar for dollar the nissan maxima or the toyota corolla are your best bets, honda's are great but are usually for a while more expensive to buy. I have years of automotive experience and love saabs but they are difficult to work on and parts are expensive my `87 900s has 500,000+miles and still go daily it has have numerous axle and brake and clutch replacements but I can't let it go.
