Hybrids are funny. They attain about 48mpg IN TOWN, but get smaller amount ont he highway because the batteries help the engine next to acceleration and deceleration. On the highway, the engine just does the running constant to maintain speed. After 3-5 years you enjoy to replace the Hybrid`s battery pack and at $4000, its not worth the savings surrounded by gas!
