my car is on the blink, and i need to bring back a car to do me for a few months at least, i singular have lb500.00, what is the best car for that price, im not expecting to buy a bmw or merc, only something to get around in thats credibly reliable.

i managed to buy a mk3 golf beside 60 000 on the clock for that, was in perfect nick bar the tailgate hich i am currently have replaced for lb180 inc. paint spray. For lb500, the make and model is totally irrelevant. Your prime consideration is condition, MOT, and hopefully, some sort of service history-but don't hold your breath on that one. If you see a car surrounded by decent nick, next to a years MOT on it, being sold by a decent human human being for a believable reason, BUY IT. Doesn't matter if it's a Skoda or a BMW, if it's surrounded by good nick, pinch it.
By the way, never buy from a dealer at that price, he'll hold rescued it from the scrapyard, cleaned it, and marked it up at lb499!
