Which is hotter? Chevy Silverado 1500 or Nissan Titan?

Looking to buy a 2004 or 2005 year model of each truck. The silverado would be an extended cab within a LS trim most likely. The Titan could be in extended or crew minicab. both with v8 engines.

Basing it on looks over performance. exterior firstly and interior secondly. Which would you buy? Will incorporate a 3-6 inch on it and put ome new rims and tires on it. Help me out. Thanks.

What would the payments be for a...

Where to buy a cheap sports car?

All brand loyality put aside.

I've been driving a lot of trucks lately (rentals) for the off-highway sites that I entail to go to... I know you said '04 or '05 model, but the engines are pretty much identical, and the GM changed exterior design and front suspension for '07. But from driving the '07 models of both of these trucks I hold come to these impressions of each truck:

'07 Chevy 1/2 ton Crew Cab 4x4. Had the 4.8L motor. It was for a moment underpowered in my opinion, but you can picking this truck with a 5.3L or a 6.0L. I had to rev the 4.8 quite hard to make it run, but it is a short stroked motor so it doesn't form a lot of torque. I had no problems getting 18-21 on the highway (hilly terrain ratification through multiple towns runnin 70) and on mine sites I could still get 14-16. The truck had a trouble breaking loose the flipside tires (almost impossible going straight). It rode very nicely, places were pretty comfortable, stereo sounded really good, faint on highway. Body lean on hard corners, but handeled well. Hard to read gauge on left side of instrument cluster because of lack of table lamp getting to them during the day (they are set deep into the plunge bezel, turning on the lights make them easier to read)

'07 TItan... All money spent in design be on the drivetrain. The interior sucks in my opinion. I don't know if adjectives radios have the same type of display, but I have single disc unit and the LCD 7-seg display was cheesy, nouns quality was comparable to my '90 Ford next to only 2 speakers! Heat/AC controls were crappy (cheap plastic that wobbled contained by my hand, 4x4 selection knob be the same way. Instrument cluster is a dim ginger, and the odometer is almost impossible to read in direct insubstantial. Dampened tailgate when lowering is a nice thing to have. Electric roll down vertebrae window was nice. Ok, stick your foot surrounded by the 5.6L and your turnin tires! It was responsive, and the 5spd auto did nothing but assistance it melt the rear tires. It is a hot rod, I get horrible fuel economy, even when I was nice to it. Mid teens when settin the cruise control at 70 (exact same conditions as the '07 Chevy I drove). Handeled other, was responsive there as resourcefully. I will admit this truck was a blast to drive on a switchback road up a mountain. Hammer the throttle in the middle in the corner, break loose the rearend and do a badass powerslide. 0-60 was fun, and the truck would break the rearend loose at 20mph on most roads!

I would buy the GM over the Nissan

Which motor would you choose?

i really like the chevy. but i have a sneaking suspicion that that for reliability is better the titan...
