Answers: It's a factor of age. Maybe of place. No one contained by the NYC area loves traffic. And if you're commuting, when a 90 minute drive turns into 3 hours, the air conditioning is broken and it's 100 degree, there's not much to enjoy.
I thought it was cool when I be younger. Now that I've got a few million miles on me, I can do without it. Too lots cars gone past 200,000 thousand miles too quickly.
You can own the traffic. Me, I'll take 2 or 3 in the morning within my sports car, my Valentine working, sound system pumping and temps low adequate to need a bit of heat poured over the foot. Knocking off 50 miles from Long Island to Connecticut can be real fun approaching that.
The only thing better is to enjoy someone with you that's worth the ride.
