Answers:    Hi Sam
it does works on average speed over the distance, but theres normally 3 cameras or more, call SPEC's, there becoming popular, i own seen some around leicester nouns i think, the system can check upto 60 plates a second, thus if you renovate lane then youll still find nabbed. whilst its corral of view is predetermined to about 3/4 of the lane, if you be to be on the dotted line, you might a short time ago be out of its field of landscape and focus. Its based on a system similar to TALON, used a ship ports now, where on earth it records adjectives vehicle plates entereing and leaving, again upto 60 at a time a second. As long as you dont run to quickly through respectively zone then you will be ok, but if you slow within zone 1-2 then briskly in 2-3 you bring back a ticket for speeding there. as used on the M6 a short time ago north of Brum, where spec's caught over 10 thousand over the year it be there!!, few quid for the coffers and their chocolate biscuits...
hope this help.... get a gps camera detector!, nearby worth there solidity now...

Im commuting to college a couple days...
