Im moving from CA to OH and need to move some things too much to fit within an suv and too small to rent a moving truck. I was looking at the caravan and was wondering if UHAUL rents one approach trip caravans and in the order of how much they are.
They rent an econoline van - we got one yesterday.
Caravan? Like a Dodge mini-van?? No.
www.Uhaul.com
You can check all the equipment they rent, and you can find base prices in that.
Answers: A caravan won't hold much more than most full size SUV's. There are no companies currently renting minivans for moving, for one simple reason: nearby are no minivans being built for contents purposes anymore.
Renting an Econoline van is only a local selection, if you took it cross country, Uhaul would charge you to get it fund to the origin location. They do enjoy small box vans available that can hold plenty of cargo and would work better than a van anyway.
Honestly, you might be better sour having somone move your frieght for you. ABF Freight offer a Upack service where they drop past its sell-by date a container for you to load beside your belongings and then they deliver it to your destination for you. It's smaller amount expensive when compared to renting a van.
Also, talk to a moving company. They usually own space available on trucks moving cross country and you only discharge for the space you use on the truck. I had an entire apartment moved from Texas to Arkansas finishing year for about $1200 and I didn't lift up a finger. They packed everything up, loaded up the truck, next delivered everything to my up to date home.
What is etiquette for carpooling?
