I have a 1992 Mazda 626 and like everyone else, I want better milage. One solution I tried be to use valvoline fuel system cleaner. My car was getting 24 mpg back i used the cleaner. after using the cleaner my milage actually dropped down to 21 mpg. Any thoughts or advice on getting more mpg?
try QMI fuel cleaner, it does a good opening. if it does not help, check the injectors, nozzles may be worn and over spray.

Answers: It may of late be a coincidence, winter gas sometimes saps mileage. I doubt fuel injector cleaner will make you bring better gas mileage for that tank you add it within, most likely the tanks thereafter the cleaning is done.
