Highway driving at hours of darkness?

Well hopefully on the 25th I'll be going up to Orlando after I get off work to pop in my friend for the weekend and go to Disney for his birthday(it's about 2 hours away for me).
Well, I'm 17, and at the moment my mom doesn't even want me to turn up there, but I can usually change her mind(I own driven up there and back a few times and I'm fine beside it) Today I found out I work until 10 on that Friday, so I need to convince my mom it'll be ok for me to drive 2 hours on the highway rather than at 6 contained by the morning the next day.
I for one am worried roughly speaking another fog accident, and I really don't want to drive with the morning commuters.

Driving at darkness there are way smaller number people.
Yes there are a few drunks, and some insane speeders, but here won't be lots of people so you can get out of the mode of potential hazards easier
I wouldn't even be driving on the highway super late. From around 10:30-11:45 I'll be on actual highway

(Sorry if this is sort of ramble-ish. I'm bored :/ )

Should the speed consideration be raise on...

How oodles times own you run out...

Depends on which road you are going to use. If you are going to be on interstate 4, watch out. You should be fine, but population get crazy on that road and it can be congested even on a Friday night, especially around Orlando and Tampa. Just pay attention, always check you mirrors and look over your shoulder when you are going to change lane or merge.

Answers:    Well, you've convinced me that it would be ok. At that time of darkness you probably won't have to worry something like falling asleep at the wheel, provided you get a moral night's sleep the night before. You're young-looking and probably used to staying up real late anyway.

Just highlight that you're concerned about driving in fog and that it is more death-defying that driving at night. It will probably still be dark when you walk off at 6 in the morning anyway.
