How do you remember driving route?

I am new to this country. I own difficulties in remembering the driving route, I connote names of individual routes (I enjoy GPS, but my question is I want to remember some serious routes by heart, but I have difficulties surrounded by remember the route name, e..g M3 --> A303 --> A30 , I find these name got no connotation and is so difficult to remember, I keep on asking my husband what is the identify of this road, and I hate myself man so stupid). Do you have this sensation same as me, how do you stop this feeling of person useless

Answers: Don't feel desperate. I moved to a new city (not even a spanking new country with clean road-naming conventions) and it took me months to make sense of the downtown streets.

What help me and may help you is that I used a variety of maps - google map, yahoo maps, and mapquest - and looked at different view when I had some free time (not contained by the car). Then when I drove the route, it would make more sense contained by light of what I'd see on the map.

But mostly - give yourself some time, and relax around not recalling the route numbers.

First of adjectives stop feeling sorry for yourself, and secondly if you hold sat nav why the hell do you want to remember routes by heart. There is other something that us poor plebs do that can't afford sat nav - you read the bloody road signs!
