How far could one travel?

If you have a vehicle that holds 31 gallons of gas and get 14 miles per gallon in city. How tons 4 mile in city trips could one bring in using all 31 gallons of gas?

Can you brand name a vanished foot...

Answers:    The point of this excercise is to find you to learn how to integer it out yourself.

You have 31 gallons, and 14 miles/gallon. You are trying to numeral out how many miles you can be in motion.

Multiply gallons by miles/gallon, and you cancel out the gallons and are not here with a moment ago the miles.

Then you have miles/trip, and you are trying to numeral out how many trips you can do. So you DIVIDE miles by miles/trip, which cancel out the miles. (because it's like multiplying, except near the miles/trip flipped upside down)

The number you're left near is the number of trips you could take.
