alright. i think race misunderstood what i was trying to accomplish finishing time i asked, so im asking again.
i work for the BC government and am trying to divide a ministries "carbon footbprint". i am not concerened with how various MPG it will get to let go me money. im not buying a truck.
i would just resembling to know approx. how much gas (litres or gallons, i can convert) an AVERAGE 1990-2000ish s10 (or equivilent sized truck) would use in 1 hour of driving (city or highway). if you know what it might be within weeks or days, that is fine too, i can do adjectives the calculations. and, im sure for my purposes, the year wouldnt really concern all that much.

Answers: rough estimate nearly 5 gallons an hour driving on highway and about 3 gallons per hour surrounded by city. i come to this by saying if you be driving for an hour on highway and your average speed was enunciate 60 mph and your truck got 15 to 20 mpg you would use almost 5 gallons per hour and since most city you do a lot of sitting at lights and excellerating and stoping i read out about 3 gallons per hour. hope this help......
well, if a vehicle get 30 miles per gallon and is going 30 miles an hour, it uses 1 gallon of fuel. so, you need to find out what the mpg average is and what your average speed per hour used is.
