Im a valet driver at some condos and where I work at its free to park your cars and various people dont even tip or supply a thankyou when we constantly have to bring within cars back and forth. But I purely want to know your oppinion on how much you would pay us. Thanks
a couple of bucks..
if you just park, probably not more than 5 $( near are always exceptions)
if you bring within the groceries etc, help near the kids etc etc.... you could sometimes get even 10$
you get to remember though, this job doesn't bestow you a choice weather to help the human being with her stuff or not, however you're not guaranteed to capture payed what your work was worth
Hope this help!
Answers: You're person paid by the condominium association to park their vehicle for them. Since the owners are paying the dues, they're already paying you to park and retrieve their vehicles.
As for handling luggage and groceries, they should tip you for that. If you're not getting tipped and it's not surrounded by your description of duties, take it up beside the condo association, have them look at the situation. Hauling luggage from their motor to their door should be worth $2 per bag, groceries are rather harder to set a price, but probably 50 cents a bag is f¨ēte.
If the condo association feels it's reasonable, they can stipulate that your assistance must be compensated. I can tell you I other tip valet drivers and baggage handler at the airport. I believe it's a courtesy and usually ensures my pack is handled powerfully, plus it seems to come rotten the plane sooner.
