I am taking a trip that is approximately 520 miles. Gas costs about 3.10 a gallon and the coup¨¦ gets about 25 miles to the gallon on the highway which is where on earth almost all of our traveling will be. The tank holds 12-13 gallons. Can anyone narrate me the approximate cost of this trip?
should take two tanks both ways going and coming really smaller amount than two tanks should do it 13 gal time 3.10... like 40 a crowd up. my car gets nearly 300 plus to a tank so two tanks of gas 80 bucks around in the region of
Taking pity, you're looking at $64.48 each way. You'll, conceptually, use 20.8 gallons each way, objective you're going to have to stop at least once for fuel contained by each direction.
I typically overbudget my fuel on long trips to allow for traffic, morons and other diversions, which include noodling around in town, to dodge a traffic preserve or other highway nuisances, so if I add 5 gallons at $3.10, the total cost comes up to $144.66.
Get some sleep; it's what I'm about to do.

Don't expect gas to be $3.10 everywhere you drive,
prices change hourly, and from city to city even from one part of a city to another.
Prices at service areas on lots of the toll roads in the US are typically higher than the sour highway prices, allthough gas stations right off the highway are usually more than those stations in town.
I've see gas prices on the New York Thurway between Albany and Buffalo have a price difference of 10 cents.
so budget more for gas than you think, it doesn't hurt to hold extra.
not to be smart, but you did go to school didnt you?smaller amount than two tanks.
Seriously, are you old satisfactory to even drive? This is 4th grade math!
Expect $75.
520 miles divided by 25 mpg = 21 gallons times 3.10 per gallon = 65.10 or two tankfulls to be safe. Get some rest if you're driving that far...be protected.
520miles/25miles per gallon = how copious gallons you need
Gallons x cost of gas = cost of gas for the trip
You can do the rest, right?
