I commute to work each sunshine via a highway on which the speed limit is 65 mph but most travel at a speed of at tiniest 75-80 mph. Is traveling at this high speed for a time of about 33 miles one mode bad for my vehicle (which is a gas guzzler since it is an SUV). yes, it burns more gas at a sophisticated speed, the closer your engine gets to decline speed, the more efficient it become, and since your top gear is meant to be close to rot at 55, when you go faster than this, the engine is running at greater rpm's..
