I have wrecked my brain on what is the best way to move our stuff backbone to the U.S. from Mexico. Has anyone ever done that move? How long did it takes and how much did it cost? I have have quotes from Mexcian Moving companies and they want almost 13K to do it! That's crazy!
It seems the only track to move stuff is in a container. Isn't it possible to just bring back a truck to drive our stuff across the border like a regular moving company does?
I need suggestions?
Thanks
Izzy
If you have an FM-3, I don't see why you can't newly load it up in your motor and bring it back. I never bring anything with me when I adaptation countries... not even clothes... I just sell or afford away anything I can get rid of an move on... it's solitary belongings and they aren't worth the effort or expense to move... especially internationally
Answers: Have you tried consulting near an American moving company instead?
There's a company in Florida, SMW Relocation Services, that does international moves. In the interest of full disclosure, I've done some marketing consulting for them, but the owner, Teri, has be in business for about three decades and know quite a bit about international moves. She might be capable of help you out, or at least answer your grill about bringing stuff over by truck.
http://www.smwrelo.com is their Web site, her e-mail is teri(a)smwrelo.com.
