Moving to Iowa...Suggestions?

I am interviewing next week for a chore in Atlantic IA. I've be doing some research and I'm a little concerned something like the town - or lack in that of. I would like to live where on earth there is some stuff to do - I be thinking in the Des Moines/West Des Moines nouns.

The only concern I enjoy is the commute. I currently live in a completely populated city and even though I live about 10 miles from my commission - it takes me at most minuscule 1/2 hour to get home.

I'm in recent times concerned about the drive, mileage etc.

Does anyone hold any suggestions?

Thanks!

How have the rising cost of gas...

Just remember, if anyone asks you where on earth you moved to, tell 'em Heaven.

At lowest possible that is the storyline that Kevin Costner is putting out.

Driving testing tomorrow one concluding sound out?

Check out Omaha too, might be a little easier drive.

Get a FWD econo motor for the winter, and a motorcycle for the summer.

Outdoor stuff like hunting, fishing, hiking, motorcycling, tremendously popular.

Still clubbing is popular in Omaha and Des Moines; fitting University towns in Ames and Iowa City.

I consider its humid in the summer.

Limo Service?!?

Answers:    sounds like you would be happier living contained by Council Bluffs, Iowa.. It is connected to ( opposite the river sandbank from) Omaha, Nebraska & Omaha is really a great city... lots to do and a thousand times better than Des Moines (trust me, I spent most my life surrounded by Iowa).... also council bluffs is only 60 miles from Atlantic and it is mostly interstate driving so could be as short as a 45 minute drive depending where on earth you live and where actual work location is.... not sure where on earth you are now, but it is fundamentally hard to find traffic anywhere surrounded by Iowa that takes 1/2 hour to run 10 miles on a daily starting place... Warning, Iowa is very cold "most" winters and deeply hot & humid in the summer... otherwise it really is a wearing clothes place to live and central between Minneapolis, Chicago, & Kansas City.. angelic luck

Driving directions?

Been to Iowa several times unbelievably nice place. But harsh winters.
